This is one of my favorite places. Maybe I am biased because I am on first name basis with the staff. I would say the best description is "consistent" I know what to expect every time. It just good bar food. The selection of beer and cider is great, again very consistent and you know what to expect. The specials are always worth a shot. You just gotta peak at the board on the way in. One of the best indicators of this place, is that the staff comes in on their day off to hang or eat. They bring their kids too.
My fave place to go to. Across street. But, my best rating is for the employees that work here that are so personable and friendly. Great atmosphere.
Stopped by here impromptu like and ordered a MaiTai. I wasn’t sure they would even be able to. Much to my happiness the friendly bartender did know how to, and even had a secret ingredient. I also appreciated the sign about fisherman. My first thought was oh dumb, unsolicited inspirational speak, until I read the whole thing ;) Thanks for the quick uplift in spirits.
Our first time there and it was awesome. The food is great and reasonable priced you can't go wrong. Big variety menu to choose from from appetizers to salads, sandwiches to main course meals including dessert. Full scale bar. Service is 100%. You got to come and try out McCools. Ask for Justin hes about awesome waiter.

Really fun bar! Standard food & drink options, with some different offerings. Ordered “the stoner” and loved it, so girlie and fruity. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed checking this place out!
Our food came quickly and was really good. Our server was super busy yet she took the time to be friendly and answer our questions. Never made us feel like she was hurried. I would definitely stop here again if in the area.
I had the jambalaya and it was delicious. The pan fried oysters looked amazing. This oyster shooter was awesome.
